Funding Opportunities
Foundation Funding
Foundation funding supports early-stage innovators by providing grants and seed capital. Shobhit Innovation and Startup Foundation leverages philanthropic contributions to nurture promising student and faculty-led ideas. This funding is primarily aimed at research validation, prototype development and capacity building. The support helps startups overcome initial financial barriers and prepares them for larger investment rounds.
Angel Funding
Angel funding involves high-net-worth individuals investing personal capital into promising startups at an early stage. Through the Shobhit Innovation and Startup Foundation, startups gain access to a network of angel investors who provide both funding and mentorship. This support accelerates product development, market entry, and business scaling. Angel investors also guide founders in strategic planning, risk mitigation, and future fundraising readiness.
CSR Funding
CSR funding allows corporate organizations to invest in innovation and entrepreneurship as part of their social responsibility initiatives. Shobhit Innovation and Startup Foundation collaborates with industries to channel CSR funds into socially impactful technologies and student startups. These funds often support projects related to healthcare, sustainability, rural development, and education. CSR partnerships help startups gain visibility, industry connections, and long-term growth opportunities.
Government Funding
Government funding includes grants, subsidies, and schemes launched under initiatives like Startup India, MSME and CM Yuva Udyamita programs. At Shobhit Innovation and Startup Foundation, startups receive handholding support to apply for these government schemes and tap into non-equity financial assistance. Such funding helps innovators establish their companies, develop prototypes and conduct pilot studies. Government programs also provide incubation support, training and market linkage opportunities.
